Where There Are Octobers: An Introduction

It's been a few years since I've dipped my toes into this pool, but the chaos of 2020 has stirred in me a renewed interest in writing and a curiosity that searches for the joy of the Lord in the everyday moments of my life, and so here I am again. By way of introduction, my name is Stefanie, and I'm a youth services librarian in North Carolina. As you might guess of any librarian, I spent my childhood adventuring through the pages of my favorite books, and while I found many kindred spirits in the characters I met, the delightful imagination of one particular redhead taught me to see the beauty around me. I'm speaking of course of Anne of Green Gables, and one of my favorite quotes from that plucky heroine is the inspiration for this blog.
